As a fine art and portrait photographer, I enjoy photography as a relaxing medium as it often helps me restore my inner wisdom and balance. Photography by its very nature creates art through one's unique perspective and vantage point. With a simple camera and still awareness, we each can offer our very own view of what we find beautiful. I believe that creating kindles and exalts the imagination and imagination reveals what the world can be. With each conscious movement in my work, I feel a measure of inspiration and an overwhelming childlike and joyful state. It's rather blissful and I like to be there as often as I can.

Inspire A Space is just what an inspirational piece of fine art can do. Wall art is an incredible way to create your own unique expression. To help you in this process, I often stage my own photography as a room's focal point and then post photos such as the one above into my blog as curated suggestions. The Inspire A Space posts can help you visualize a design style, as choosing wall art decor for your home and business doesn't always come naturally. Some feel it is the most challenging part of a design concept. Getting wall art collected into single pieces or an entire gallery and feeling confident with how your choices ultimately tie a room together can feel a little daunting at first. But rest assured with a little practice and suggested wall art combinations in the Inspire A Space posts, you'll find it very doable and even fun. And, in the end, you'll have your own signature on your unique room vision.
During the process of creation, you may find yourself feeling a bit overwhelmed and asking how do I choose the right size or the right colors to fit my space? and how do I confidently combine art styles into one gallery ? Once again, the Inspire A Space posts will help you visualize a place to begin in your creative process.
Don't hesitate to contact me for a bit of help or encouragement. I enjoy creating distinctive wall art for unique decor visions and one of a kind interior design interpretations. Get inspired with unique wall art ideas for any space. The possibilites are endless. Take a look at the collections I've curated to go together such as Sara's Bungalow and Beach Modern Farmhouse Wildflowers to help you shop.
As you page through the Michele Hancock Photography 'images' found in my collections on Fine Art America and Pixels.com try pinning your favorites to your own designated mood board. It's helpful to revisit your collection of wall art photographs from time to time to see how you feel with the imagery you've selected and those that you're attracted to over time. Consider color, theme, emotion evoked etc. It is not unusual to build an entire space around a fine art piece that 'speaks to you' and it's easier than you think. Remember, I'm here to help.
Take some time to get to know the Fine Art America and Pixels.com websites. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. I can and often do digitally tailor the color emphasis of existing images to create new art by request for buyers and interior designers, allowing their design concepts and/or client specifications with unique palettes to be realized.

Thirty-five years ago I began using my camera to capture life's miracles. As a photographer, I particularly observed people, wildlife, landscapes, and flowers as subject matter. Encouraged by a national award from Eastman Kodak with my original wall artwork using film and later a feature of one of my photographs using Rembrandt lighting in an educational publication, I continued my exploration. A couple of years ago I was thrilled to have my photography featured in my hometown newspaper announcing the showing of my work on canvas in a local Southern Oregon Art Studio. Within that invitation, I had the opportunity to display photographs of beautiful Southern Oregon and all it offers. I was also happy to be a part of creating photographs for a mindfulness and meditation room for students at a local university. I've enjoyed my journey from film to fewer pixels, to more pixels, full-frame, mirrorless, and state of the art lenses. New prints are released regularly, so check back often.
